What a first! A look back at our very first Naturist Hiking Week ⛰️☀️✨
When, a few months ago, we came up with the idea for the Naturist Hiking Week
during a ‘crazy moment’, we really had no idea what to expect. Would anyone
actually be interested in this?
Well, you bet! Without any large-scale marketing campaigns, our week was
completely sold out in barely three weeks! That felt fantastic, of course, but to be
honest: it also put us on our toes straight away. We knew we had to give our guests a
truly unique experience they’d remember for a lifetime.
From an exciting idea to a baptism of fire
So there was quite a bit of work to be done. After all, how do you organize something
that doesn’t yet exist – and that you’ve never organized yourself before? Add to that
the fact that, alongside looking after our guests day to day, we’re also in the middle of
a major renovation project on our new home, and you’ll understand: the weeks
leading up to it were intense and hectic!
On Sunday 27 October, the big day finally arrived: the first participants arrived. The
welcome was incredibly warm, although there was certainly a touch of healthy
anticipation in the air here and there. Because, well… what exactly lay in store?
Nobody was one hundred per cent sure! But after a lovely first evening and a
refreshing night’s sleep, the very first walk set off on Monday morning.
As we were setting off from the finca, we made clear arrangements about where and
when we could take our clothes off. We were perhaps the most curious of all: after
all, this was to be our official baptism of fire as nude walking guides! Fortunately, any
form of stress soon proved to be completely unnecessary. The walk went off without
a hitch, the clothes came off effortlessly, and everyone was clearly enjoying the
ultimate freedom in nature to the full.
The rhythm of the week: Enjoyment with a capital E!
The days that followed soon settled into a lovely, relaxed rhythm:
- Mornings: A gentle wake-up with a hearty, fresh breakfast on the terrace.
- During the day: We’d put on our shoes together and set off! We walked
through the breathtaking green surroundings and rounded off each walk with a
cosy picnic in the heart of nature. - Afternoon: Time for pure relaxation! Everyone took a refreshing dip in the
swimming pool, found a spot in the garden, or enjoyed the warmth of the
sauna and hot tub. - Evening: Sitting down to a delicious, freshly prepared three-course dinner
and long, cosy conversations under the starry sky.
A week to remember
It would be going too far to describe every walk from start to finish, but the feedback
afterwards said it all: what a magical, unique holiday this was!
The beautiful routes, the lovely weather, the peace and quiet on the estate, the
delicious food and, above all, the wonderful atmosphere within the group…
everything was just right. And, not least: we, as hosts, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
too. Running a regular B&B takes a lot of energy, but this week in particular has
given us a huge boost!
Would you like to join us next time?
It will therefore come as no surprise that we’re very keen to repeat this success! The
dates for the second edition have already been set: from 9 to 16 May 2027.
Do you also dream of experiencing the ultimate combination of walking, nature and
freedom? Then don’t wait too long: there are currently only 3 rooms left!
